Grade 3 trombone quartet, 2′
Commissioned by Bill Dennee of the Denmark Middle School Band, in memory of Lawrence Dennee. This piece takes the big band jazz music of the 30s and 40s and pares it down to a trombone quartet, perfect for teaching students about fundamentals of jazz like swing and the 12-bar-blues form.
